Patio Door Colors and Finishes

Beautify your home with Marvin Replacement's proprietary acrylic finish and color options. Three times thicker than competitive options, our finishes are virtually maintenance-free. No more sanding, scraping, or painting required.

Exterior Patio Door Colors

Choose from seven exterior color options to boost your backyard living. Our fade-resistant acrylic finish resists scratches, chalking, fading, chipping, denting and peeling. Even 48,000 hours of sun can’t fade our finish.*

Selected: Stone White

Marvin’s Ultrex fiberglass finish is verified to the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) 624 specification. Achieving AAMA 624 verification means that our Ultrex finish has passed rigorous tests that simulate the harsh conditions a finish can encounter throughout the life of the window or door. *Average sunlight exposure per 10 years.

Interior Colors

We use the same tough acrylic finish on our four interior color options that we use on our exterior colors. You can also choose our stainable EverWood® finish for the look of wood windows, but without the maintenance.

Glass Options

Our Marvin Replacement experts will walk you through energy efficient glass options to find the right selection for your home. Our options include four choices of glass coatings, various tints, plus specialty glass options.

Low E Glass

E stands for emissivity, which is a material’s ability to radiate energy. The number following the “E” indicates the number of metallic layers. The coatings are thin metallic layers designed to reflect heat. Marvin Replacement patio doors have four choices of Low E coatings. The metallic coatings can appear on annealed, tempered, laminated, and our tinted glass.

Marvin Replacement Low E options are below:

Primarily used in colder climates, Low E1 allows more heat in to warm a room while blocking heat loss.

  • Diagram of Low E2 glass coating

Low E2 offers year-round performance in moderate climates. It will help retain heat in your home during the winter and keep heat out during the summer.

  • Diagram of glass with three metallic coatings.

Low E3 rejects solar heat while letting light in, resulting in increased performance in climates with intense sun exposure.

Low E3/ERS provides maximum efficiency year-round in all conditions.

Specialty Glass

We offer specialty glass to best suit the needs of your home. You can choose tempered glass, laminated glass, and STC/OITC glass for specific rooms.

  • Tempered glass increases glass strength to help prevent breakage. Tempered glass is often required for patio doors and ideal for patio doors located in high-traffic areas.

  • Even more durable than tempered glass, laminated glass is often referred to as impact resistant or safety glass due to its vinyl inter layer that tends to remain in place when shattered.

  • Sound Transmission Class and Outdoor-Indoor Transmission Class glass has increased pane thickness on the room side and works in areas where exterior noise is a concern.

Decorative Glass

Decorative glass options fit well for different parts of your home. Our patterned options can provide privacy and natural light while our tint options can help with sunlight glare.

Sliding French doors showcase the traditional appeal of a French door with space-saving sliding operation. Choose a sliding French door if you like the classic look of a French door, but have limited exterior and interior space.

Why choose a sliding French patio door?

Sliding French doors can part in the middle or open to one side or the other, depending on your preference. The bi-parting sliding French doors can expand your indoor-outdoor living space for a seamless transition between the two while a uni-directional sliding French door can add a touch of elegance to a room.
